SYNOPSIS

An author and new mom struggles with paralyzing writer’s block. She finds inspiration IN her neighbors arguments, but when their world and hers collide in real life she faces a moral dilemma that puts her work, her kid and her identity in question.

DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY

This Montreal based filmmaker earned a BFA at Concordia before directing her first short film, then transitioned into a career in factual TV, where she developed over 10 greenlit series in true crime, food, science and lifestyle. But the call of fiction was too strong and Holly soon returned with The High Note a comedic web-series that garnered a loyal online following, then wrote and directed The Catch a short film which premiered at the Berlinale. Holly is currently in post-production on her latest short Mother of Invention, and co-writing a feature titled Breed.
