SYNOPSIS
The Catch is about a tough young girl named Morgan who loves fly fishing in the river near her home. She also likes boys. But boys don’t like girls who fish. Morgan can’t seem to reconcile her two interests. Will she have to choose one and abandon the other?

After attending the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema on scholarship and receiving her BFA in Film Production, Holly wrote and directed The Same House a short film which travelled to international festivals winning some acclaim for screenwriting. Throwing herself in to production she worked as assistant director and producer on the big budget American films shot in Montreal, and continued writing her own songs, plays, and scripts. She currently works as a development writer crafting factual and fictional television. Most recently she created and directed the comedic web-series The High Note which has garnered a dedicated audience on-line. Her second short film The Catch produce with the support of Colonelle Films was selected to the prestigious Berlinale Festival in 2017. Holly is also writing her first feature film Motherload.
